Beaches & Bays

The beaches in Sanna are wonderful and being right on your doorstep you’ll have the chance to explore them to the full, especially those early morning or late evening moments, when the light is perfect or the chance of a bracing dip irresistible. 

Cross the river and follow the coastline out to the west and there are many smaller, hidden coves and beaches that are almost never visited and offer you wonderful views over Rum, Eigg, Muck and Canna. A little further round and you’ll come to the ‘Fort’, the remains of an iron-age structure just about discernible on a grassy raised-beach with stunning views to the north. The perfect place for a barbeque
